Young Adult Fellowship

I am creating something new.
There it is! Do you see it?
I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands.
Every wild animal honors me, even jackals and owls.
I provide water in deserts—streams in thirsty lands for my chosen people.
I made them my own nation, so they would praise me.

Isaiah 43:19-21 CEV

For years, my son has been searching for a church where he can genuinely learn about Elohim—without the manmade rules, gimmicks, and politics that seem to be common nowadays. He kept leaving feeling bored and confused, with more questions than answers. Sunday school wasn’t able to help him, especially since we observe the Sabbath at home.

Then, because of all the misinformation flooding social media, he asked me to go live regularly—just to speak the truth of the gospel. Too many of his friends are being misled.

Around the same time, I began meeting other young adults who want the same things: truth without judgment, straightforward language, and genuine respect. They want to be seen and heard. They want to express their perspectives without being dismissed.

So this Pesach season—Yahweh’s spiritual new year for His Kingdom believers—I received a new assignment. More of a gentle nudge, really. To finally put into motion what’s been clear and requested for a while. Build, and they will come.

That’s how YAF—Young Adult Fellowship of Barak Village Ministry—was founded on March 31st. I had a conversation during a walk home with a young man who echoed my son’s exact words, right as I was preparing to enter the holy season. That night, Yahweh confirmed what my heart had already heard.
